Oakfull and Qingdao University of Science and Technology's School of Mathematics and Science Establish Joint Laboratory for Water-Driven Electricity-Free Water Purification Technology

On 17 October, the inauguration ceremony of the "Joint Laboratory of Water-Driven Electricity-Free Water Purification Technology" was held at the Laoshan Campus.

Qingdao Oakfull Water Purifier Co., Ltd. donated water-driven electricity-free water purification equipment worth 50,000 RMB to support the school’s talent cultivation. Yang Shuguo introduced the school’s history, first-class discipline construction, and the integration of industry, academia and research, as well as its educational approach. He expressed his hope that the university and enterprise would further promote pragmatic cooperation, carry out in-depth collaboration in areas such as project research and development and student innovation and practice bases, and actively explore the new “school-enterprise-local-sea-air-chain” cooperation model to drive high-quality talent cultivation.

Ms. Chu Ningning introduced the company’s development history, scientific research cooperation and future development plans. She expressed her hope that the university and enterprise would continue to strengthen the core technology team through industry-academia-research integration, joint project development, technical exchanges, and the introduction of high-level talent, providing students with rich practical resources and experimental platforms, and promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements through multiple initiatives.

At the ceremony, Yang Shuguo and Chu Ningning jointly unveiled the plaque for the “Joint Laboratory of Water-Driven Electricity-Free Water Purification Technology”.

Yang Shuguo, Dean of the School of Mathematics and Science at Qingdao University of Science and Technology, presented a report on the school’s development history, faculty development, talent cultivation quality, and university-enterprise cooperation. After the ceremony, attendees visited the college’s laboratory.
